GPS Seychelles is not a newspaper but rather a web Hub in the digital space.
It's a space for good writing and reading, and good photography, about all aspects of Seychelles and the Seychellois, nationally and internationally.

I am its creator and curator, and I'm surrounded and supported by a growing number of seasoned Seychellois writers and professionals who love the country and care much about it.

Let's say it's a hybrid of Gilbert Pool's Seychelles and Global Positioning Seychelles rolled in one dynamic space where you're all welcome to share your writing, your art, your views, thoughts and opinions.

My most recent journey in news publishing reminded me that I have a duty to contribute to the development of my country by helping to nurture good writing, good reading, good photography, and a healthy perspective of what happens around us.

Today is the very first small step in what I hope will be a long journey. at 70 I'm planting a Coco-de-mer seed, and I may not live to see the palm flourish.
